Seriously though, in what capacity?

I used to know a good ole baw who did some kind of construction work with them.

Said pay was great, but a lot of restrictions and safety rules.

I had a few friends who went there after college. when they saw how much more money everyone else was making, they all left NASA and went into industry.

I worked in the Nuclear industry for a while as an Engineer. Nothing can be worse than that restriction/safety wise.

I worked for the Michoud facility for about 2 years as a subcontractor. Amazing place, even better pay (if your in the right sector). I'd go back in a heartbeat! Hoping things start picking back up... wouldn't mind faking it till I make it on a moon ride!

I guess you are looking for advice.
Here's mine, enjoy every moment.
Everything changes.
Pay attention to what is happening in other govt agencies. Maybe find a safer haven some day.
Our current NASA budget is constrained by people telling their members of the House purse strings committees not to spend a fortune on space exploration as long as millions of AA young men can't find work and ending up in crime related businesses.

Keep your options open. Learn. enjoy.

I work in a field that requires a good bit of documentation, etc....but it is a drop in the bucket compared to what you have to deal with in the nuclear industry.

I'd imagine there may not be too big of a difference then.

I know one thing with NASA is security clearance, but if you've worked on nuclear projects, I imagine you'll be ok.

Didn't take long for someone to turn this in to a political talk thread.

While I may agree with that, I'm not sure how that is related to the OP's question.

If you do make it to NASA, please leak all the top secret photos from the back side of the moon. You will be shocked when you first see them.

Not NASA, but the Rylan Star League recruited me due to my ability on a certain video game when I was younger.
