I went crazy for the first one, but every one since has been a disappointment. I thought the last one was terrible and will probably skip seeing the new one in the theater.

interesting that the trailers show both main characters in these movies (Optimus and Dom) turn bad for part of the movie.
I'll get bashed and downvoted for this comment....but these are two of my favorite movie series of all time.
purely for the entertainment value. I will be the first to admit the storyline and one liners are cheesy and cliché, but for a popcorn flick what else could you ask for? outlandish visual effects, big name actors (RIP Paul Walker), and a smorgasbord of hot chicks.

I find them entertaining. I mean it's fighting robots. What are you expecting? The 1986 movie was awesome to see as a kid. I guess I'm still riding that wave.

Yep and it's still the best transformers movie. I watched it a couple years ago and the soundtrack is obviously dated but the movie holds up. It's so much darker and more violent than expected.
