Aleve D
It's aleve and sudafed (sp).
I take a damp hot towel and rub a bunch of Vicks vapor rub in it and lay it on my face.

Claritin D helps, but not instantly or anything.
I have always been afraid of a neti pot. Wife knew someone who's son or something was one of the amoeba victims.
But last week it was so bad, I had to stay home from work. Wouldn't clear up so I picked one up from the pharmacy. Truly amazing. I traded in the cheap one for a ceramic one that I can boil to disinfect. And I only use distilled water. I will probably neti pot like once a week just to keep my sinuses clean.

For short term use : zyrtrc-D or similar +/- afrin can be useful.
For.long term:
Nasal saline rinses (neti pot or squeeze bottle) - as long as your using distilled water or tap water that's boiled first you don't have to worry about the ameoba.
Flonase/nasacort/rhinocort - allergies
Asteline/patanase - antihistamine nasal spray think Allegra/Zyrtec for the nose only . Expensive if insurance doesn't cover it.
Atrovent - nasal spray if just nasal drip isghe biggest issue

Step 1 on Netipot instructions: BOIL WATER
They're the best allergy/cold solution available. If you don't like to read instructions and/or think putting tap water directly inside your head is a good idea you're going to be competing for a Darwin award soon enough.
Cavemen figured out clean water equals survival, it's pretty sad people are too dumb to realize this today.

The Netipot is life changing. I use a Netipot twice a day plus 10 mg of Zyrtec and Flonase everyday at the recommendation of my allergist. Plus pseudoephedrine in the peak allergy season. Get the 120 mg 12 hour extended release tablets so you don't have to take them every 4 hours. 400 generic Zyrtec are about $14 at Costco, enough for over a year.
Any water will work just don't forget to boil the water (the most important part) before you add the saline solute. Put a 2 cup pyrex measuring cup of water in the microwave for 3~4 minutes and it's just the right size too.

Just got a prescription for Fluticasone Propionate nasal spray 50 mcg.
This is the only spray that has ever given me relief from sneezing and constantly blowing my nose.
Highly recommend!! All that over the counter shite never works.
Has helped be tremendously!!

Yep, I get the prescription stuff too, works best right after the Netipot! I just said Flonase because people know the brand name more than fluticasone.

I have a case of these in my truck for the last few months. Been meaning to give them away.

Mucinex and eat a couple cloves of raw garlic and you will be a new man in 24 hrs.

Walgreens brand of Zyrtec aka Wal-Zyr and Mucinex. I can't shake this cough though. May God have mercy on our souls.

Mucinex FastMax severe congestion and cold, Tylenol or ibuprofen (for nasal swelling)...then neti-pot with distilled or bottled water...

Neti pot. Salt water. Better than antibiotics.

Dayquil during day and nyquil at night...and flush your nose with a saline spray.
