Watched this last night with the gf. The story is about a young boy from India that is adopted by an Australian couple. Damn good movie and there was some onions in my living room also.

Absolutely incredible story. I tried to start a thread about it, and nobody replied.

ETA: Cried my eyes out for the last 15-20 minutes of the movie

Sounds boring and you sound like a wuss. Hope you got some at least, but you probably just wanted to cuddle.

My mom told me it's better than Room, which I absolutely love. I'll have to check it out.

I watched 10 minutes and thought it sucked and turned it off. If I have to read a movie I'm really not interested.

Yep I guess the subtitles at the beginning are not for everyone. You missed out on a good true story though.

Watched it last night. Terrific movie. I've seen all the best picture nominees except Hacksaw Ridge and Hidden Figures. Lion is my favorite so far, with Fences close behind.

I have seen all of the Oscar nominated films except for Moonlight. Lion was my favorite. I really like Dev Patel.

Just an incredible...unbelievable story.
