If you go on the thread "tacoma Spring refurbishing" they have a guy on their that has replaced the two bottom, 3rd and overload spring, with ford/chevy springs from 150/1500s or 250/2500s.

This is what I did. I went to pull-a-part in Laffy and pulled two of the lower springs off of an 80-something F150 and cut a little off the edges to fit my tacoma leaf pack. Since then my ride is a little bit better, got rid of the bro lean after leveling the front with 5100s and I've loaded couple hundred pounds of dirt in the bed without it even sagging a bit.

Tacoma put one TSB out a long time ago because the 3 pack springs in the 2nd gen were a hot pile of garbage and had instances of complete sag within a year of production. If you brought it in you could get the 4 pack TSB for whatever costs.

Now they last time I looked into it, Toyota was supposedly working on another TSB because the 4 packs were literally snapping in half and sometimes would puncture the fuel tank.
