I'm sure this has been asked before, so forgive me. But what exactly does he try to accomplish on offense? I heard some people mention triple option, but that scares me. I don't think a "gotcha" triple option offense works against the Bamas and Floridas of the world. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

There's some triple option but it's situational. It's a spread offense that embraces the run without being gimmicky like Auburn's.

The one that best utilizes the talents of his players, scores the most points possible and by any means necessary.

WE DON'T NEED ANYTHING MORE THAN THAT.

Lets just call it multiple and leave it at that.

He runs a multiple offense, keeps the defense guessing and off balance. His offense is perfect for LSU. We have the type of athletes to make his offense really jump off.

He doesnt even know. Yesterday he said 2 completely opposite things in the same interview. He said who ever fits their system best will play then he said they will fit the system to the players.

I didn't watch much of Pittsburgh outside of when they played Clemson and UNC. From those games i would say it's still very much centered around a power run game but they used ALOT more motion and misdirection than LSU did. Also alot of easy throws for the QB ( screen, swing passes, pa rollouts to a TE or FB ).

Andy Reid (KC head coach) watches film of Canada's offense and even admitted he borrowed some formations and plays.

I thought I was the only one caught that. Coach O did the same thing when he said he preferred dual threat Qbs. But also said that he prefers a pro style qb and that he is a pro style guy. Hope they got there chit together.

Exactly lol. He will literally run whatever style fits us best. He's run spread air raid schemes, power spread, and pro style offenses and done so very well.

Andy Reid's comment should tell you all you need to know

Power spread with pre-snap motion/shifts. Has some option packages.

Could be unstoppable with a true DT QB that knows what he is doing, but his system works just fine with an accurate PP QB.
