With all due respect, if you posted something in a thread with an offer to help me, I never saw it. If you addressed my issue by providing the stores phone number in a different thread, I didnt read it.

If this was directed at me, my information at your store would not be hard to find if you wanted to make it right by said timeframe. Find the ticket, have the gun repaired. Find the ticket, get my number off of it & call me. Something.

Posting the store phone number in a tigerdroppings thread is not resolving issues.

If you were directing this to me, "I never heard anything" so I didnt take action - is ridiculous customer service and it just lost you another customer. I am by no means a big spender in there, but I have purchased things over the years, that can be found elsewhere in town.

My apologies if you were not directing this to me. Doesnt change my stance on Jim's tho.

I am with my dad now in the woods and he was unhappy when I arrived yesterday w the shotgun in the same shape. "Hell i could have had someone fix it up here in the last 2 months." No kidding, Pops... I could have learned gunsmithing and fixed it myself had I known what was gonna happen.

Lesson learned.

Didnt ruin our weekend.

contrast this with Bowie who for years had an employee with an active presence here who clearly was able to gain customers for the shop. or interstate guns in Hammond with the same thing

gun shops are weird for some reason. the worst customer service experiences of my life have all been gun shops. for whatever reason there's a fairly common attitude about them and their staffs that the customer should just buy and do what they say to buy and do, or they will move on to the next guy

when you find places like Bowies and interstate that at least try to be normal businessmen it's a shock to the system
