Pulled his kids out of school, put his home up for sale and has moved out of Arizona. Rumors swirling he's hanging them up.

Good for him. He's had a good run. There's been quite a few USC to NFL QB's and he's undoubtedly been the most successful in this millennium.

This leaves the Cardinals about where they were before Palmer came along. Do they now go for an old and injury prone Romo? Draft someone and pray? Look for a functional journeyman at QB?

Would be interesting to see what a guy like Rivers/Romo could do with that team. Palmer was not a big game QB. Slightly above average career at best

it's time, he had a small resurgence for a few years in arizona but you could tell last year he just doesnt have it anymore. take away David Johnson's receiving yards and he was pretty shite

Solid B+ quarterback. Had a couple of brief windows to make championship runs but couldn't put it all together.

Maybe now the POS can give his Heisman to who should have rightfully won it, Brad Banks

Good for him. He had a long, very good career and is retiring with his health, and presumably a lot of money in the bank.

Why did he have to pull his kids out of school and immediately move?

Carson Palmer is one of the most overrated qbs ever. He's average at best.
