Coach O putting in work. A house fire couldn't get me out of bed at 4am.

If they do, good for them. LSU is the clear choice if it is a football only decision, but Texas offers him a couple of other things. We'll see what things matter most to him on NSD.

I want to see him P&G but he can get this at places other than LSU.

I agree completely, but you know some slapdick (or one hundred of them) will say otherwise if he chooses Texas

Texas recruiting is crumbling, as no real recruiters brought from that Houston coaching staff, except the kissing bandit. Chaisson is their hope to turn it around, and a full court will be heaped on him, even possible other perks that could get Texas in trouble. They won't let this one get away IMO...

Coach O is doing an awesome job recruiting K'lavon and I'm equally impressed with how Chaisson has handled the process. Nothing to be ashamed of, swing and misses happen.

Still holding out hope. Believe he realizes LSU is where his talents will be showcased.

He's listed as a DE. Does he project as a DE in college? Or will he move to
OLB?

He's Arden Key 2.0

It's safe to say O is recruiting the kid harder than anyone. If he chooses Texas, then that's where he was going bc it's the state school. Period. O is doing all that could possibly be expected short of kidnapping him. May just be one of those cases where he was staying instate no matter what. Hopefully he makes the obviously better choice and comes here

Just ask Ed Oliver what it's like to sign at a school to help "build" the program.

That's not the point. He would have done that anywhere. The point is do it while challenging for a NC every year. Houston never has a shot at that.

He went to Houston mainly because of a coach that isn't Herman and his brother plays there FWIW. He'll be a first rounder in 2 years and have the memories of playing college ball with his brother.

Its just not a good example

It was LSU or Houston for him and LSU sure didn't compete for a NC this year.

quote:

"Maybe Houston wouldn't have had a shot if my brother hadn't went there and they didn't make me pay attention," Oliver said. "My brother being there, my coach being there, it kind of made me pay attention.

This. The Phillips flip was huge, but it was softened by the Etienne news. Hopefully the rest of it breaks our way.

Did it really soften the Phillips Flip? There was nothing soft about yesterday.

I think some people are under the impression that Etienne is some game breaking RB. He isn't. If he was then LSU and Clemson would've been on him from the get go. He's a good RB prospect but good RB prospects are a dime a dozen. We went after a great RB prospect in Akers but we came up short. Such is life.
