Serious question. Why do you all think he would do this?
Serious answer. Because he wants to censor what they release about climate change.

So, in theory, the executive branch should have editing control of scientific data from one of its "appendages"?
Editing? It depends on what you mean.
Sometimes things are a matter of interpretation.

Why?
Again, they exist at the behest of the Executive
Does this make sense to you?
"All code written by Trump cybersecurity analysts must be reviewed by political staff before being compiled."

I certainly did not proclaim that. And what should politics have to do with objective data?

We love our freedom don't we folks
Oh wait

The folk worried about the EPA "data" are notorious Rand fan boys.

Past Administrations have had Presidential Science Advisors,IIRC, there are Science Advisors on the NSC Staff...EPA is out of control regulatory wise, sounds like the WH wants an inside review.

And the executive branch is who we want interpreting scientific data?

This a break from winning

EPA scientific studies, data undergo review by political staff before public release

And what business do political staffers have interpreting scientific methodology and results?
Posted on 1/25/17 at 4:10 pm to MSMHater
The EPA to me is much more of a political entity than scientific one.

What is this going to affect? What sort of information do people think the EPA should be independently releasing (or that are currently releasing) that you foresee being curtailed by this mandate, so as to adversely affect the American public?
Say a gas line breaks up river from your drinking water source. instead of the EPA releasing info on how much got into your water source, how long it will take to remediate, etc. The "reviewers" say that it isn't a big deal. No need to cause panic. So they don't release it, and you never know anything about the whole situation.
I have liked Trump's moves so far, but without the whole story this seems bad.

What "freedom" does the EPA have?
Posted on 1/25/17 at 4:12 pm to MSMHater
No frickwad
Anybody who doesn't like it can go into the private sector.
The epa is infested with career liberal loons.

It's hard to envision a scenario whereby people "inside the EPA" are the only individuals privy to such information.

And what of the political hacks already infiltrated into the EPA, which do everything with an Eco-Nazi vigor.
