Is anyone worried that we don't finish with Gay, Phillips, Wilson, and/or Chaisson? I haven't been following too much, what are the chances we pull these guys?

Yes, There is as much a possibility we get none of them just as much as there is a possibility we get all 4.

Some "Insiders" for Miss state seem to think that Gay committed to Mullen last night. I doubt that to be true, a lot of the speculation is because he went silent on twitter after the Mullen in home visit, but the reality is that it was his last in home visit so he could have just wanted time to think it over.

yes. doesn't look like we are going to get either linebacker, and the word is coming out that phillips is sticking with OU.

I don't blame this staff for some guys getting away. they got in late in the game, which is never good.

This close to NSD, its hard to know what rumors are true and which are false.
I'd just say look at em as 50/50 shots and hope for the best.

My personal order of confidence:
Wilson 60%
Phillips 50%
Gay 45%
Chaisson 40%

If you take off the P&G glasses, I think the odds are always stacked against you when trying to get someone to flip, and even moreso when it is against a home town or home state school. So, I put the likelihood of us getting these guys in this order (most likely to least likely):

Marvin Wilson
K'Lavon Chaisson
Jacob Phillips
Willie Gay

I would say none are longshots, but I'd also only consider Wilson as a clearly >50% chance. K'Lavon maybe 50/50.

I am leaning that we may get one out of Phillips and Gay. Not sure if we pull off both just because of their own situations. One being hard commit to a team for awhile and the other in the backyard of a SEC opp and in a state we havent done well with in recent history.

Not sure where you are learning this. It's actually looking as though we get neither.

What has changed since sunday to make you think this? The fact that they both had in home visits from other teams? The fact that the same insiders that said J Bulovas to Miss st are saying Willie Gay to Miss st? The fact that peoples "opinions" on here are saying the longer phillips takes the more likely it is OU? The reality is you have no idea what these 18 year old kids are thinking and you need to take a step back and wait until decisions are final.

Stop being a fricking pussy. The dude left Sunday just to go home to more in-home visits. Chill the frick out and let it play out. If you're that scared of an 18 year olds decision then why bother talking about it. I'm tired of you pessimistic fans on here

Wow. I hope as much as anyone that we get both of these guys, but let's not kid ourselves that one is committed to another school still and the other is from Mississippi.

Don't get pissed off at every post on here that doesn't sunshine pump to your exact liking.

Don't forget Markevious Bryant. I really think we get this guy. You can't be the "Big Cat" if you play for the "Dawgs". It's all wrong.

Right now I think we only get Wilson and that's starting to seem slimmer as well.

I was trying not to get my hopes up with Phillips and Gay, but too late. I'm expecting the worst right now.

We still have a strong class, but we have to fill some of those spots. Here's to a great next couple of days

Know your info homie. I don't get mad at every post that I don't like. I get mad when I see pessimist like you who proclaim themselves as LSU Fans. You know, the ones who are never positive about anything. Sorry for being a true DIE HARD fan and being more positive about our team than most.

C'mon. Some of y'all need to relax.

If someone, like myself predicts against your hopes, that doesn't make them negative. People are giving honest opinions. That's all it is, an opinion.
We're all in this together.

Hey idiot. I merely said it looks like we get neither. Please show me the info you have got that points otherwise

I am very well aware of my info lil guy and whether it's positive or negative it's realistic.

If today were NSD we most likely get neither.

Never be sorry for being positive but don't be stupid either.

This will be the bullshite narrative floating around after we finish 7-10 in the composite rankings this year. But that doesn't account for the fact that Orgeron was here for the entire cycle for these kids he's missing on. This isn't like a normal situation where a coach walks in blind to a school in December and then tries to build relationships in 2 months. He and the staff were here the whole time, they just failed across the board where the LB are concerned. And if he loses Wilson, that's an even bigger indictment considering it was his position and he's been on the kid forever.

Hopefully the myth of "Orgeron-greatest recruiter ever!!" gets blown up and people start looking at his real track record. Because while good, he's no better than the main rivals he's going against and doesn't have the track record of several of them.
