Mark Womack, Director of Scheduling, Alabama Grad.
Hard to say which is the worst. This is a pathetic schedule.Obviously engineered by the SEC office for Alabama to win the SEC West. Alabama fans should be ashamed.
Is it
Louisville
Arkansas State
Ole Miss
Texas A&M
Arkansas
ULL
Missouri
Tennessee?

With the exception of Texas A&M, who I would just put in the mediocre category, they are all dumpster fires.

What say you?

"Bama does not get any sort of favorable treatment and in fact gets flagged probably more than anyone on average."

The SEC is an Alabama corporation, based in Birmingham and staffed by Alabama alumni and fans of the University of Alabama which is just down the road. For example the SEC director of officiating is Steve Shaw, an Alabama grad. The director of scheduling is Mark Womack, a University of Alabama grad and it goes on from there. Does it make you wonder why Alabama has such a cupcake schedule, engineered to win the SEC West. I'll give you a hint. Mark Womack. Does it make you wonder why the Alabama linebacker can almost take the Tennessee quarterbacks head off and not even be flagged and Devin White can be ejected and ineligible for the first half of the Alabama game (how convenient) for what was not targeting under the rules and I've read them several times. Could Steve Shaw have something to do with it?

We don't need any help or advice from you.

I also watched... no I almost watched a Miami game and as I I clicked down looking for one to watch it struck me.

WHAT A NOTHING SCHEDULE! Bethune Cookman. Arkansas State, Toledo, Duke, Florid State(big name but a 5-7 team last year) Ga. Tech, Syracuse, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, Virginia. Those were their wins. That is a nothing schedule and what they are hanging their "badass" reputation on.

I think this will be a relatively easy win for LSU. 21- 10, 24 - 10 but it could very well turn into a blow out for LSU

One other thought. For those of you who have questions about this year's offense, did you ever have questions about Less Miles predictable, one dimensional, toss dive into a stacked box offense?

You are so right. I'm going with all the above. There are so many. I think this LSU team is going to surprise a lot of people (not me) starting with Miami right off the bat.

Here's one that wasn't mentioned. Tyler Shelvin. I know what Aranda said, but I think Kirklin moves into that other CB spot and does very well. Oh, don't forget Stephon Sullivan. Saadiq Charles. Toward the end of last season he showed flashes of being a dominant left tackle. I think he continues on that track and starts getting some recognition for it.

As I understand it he was given a one year suspension for failing the test and a one year suspension for trying to cover up. Didn't he actually pass the test? If so that would leave one year for cheating. He has already served one year so why isn't he eligible this year. I mean didn't he actually pass the test?

edit> somehow I believe a good lawyer could rip this suspension to shreds

re: Who's QB?? 2018 RBs?

I don't follow him, but didn't he start the rumor about the N.O. boycott thing that was nothing and kept pumping it 'til it was obvious it was nothing and now is writing about what was not happening to begin with is now not happening?

Also after reading the link above I now know Harris is the most talented QB on the roster who was pulled after the second game last season when I thought it was the fourth and is likely to get the starting nod this season. Is he now pumping a quarterback controversy?

Sam, sorry to disagree with you but my gut tells me Etling will be the starter and Lindsey Scott will get some special package time in preparation for him being the starter in 2018.
Wrong! Just like Bear Bryant used to do, Saban recruits to help himself but also to weaken his major opponents. For instance the "Hootie" Jones decommit, and I suspect the Chris Allen play this year. Two assistant coaches from Louisiana, Burton Burns and Karl Dunbar are more evidence of this.

Doesn't always work though. Arguable, but I think LSU did better at linebacker than Moses and Allen and although I would liked to have gotten Mathis because of the miss on Wilson, he isn't elite. Oh, and IMO Racy McMath > Devonta Smith. I can't believe Saban bumped the DE Parks to keep Devonta Smith. That Louisiana thing, maybe.

To me he seems like the only "D" recruit that is really paying attention to what Aranda has done and the opportunity at LSU. Other recruits, it's who they have bonded with or which school their Mama likes, etc., etc.. Besides I can't see the "Big Cat" playing for the "Dawgs". I mean, it's just wrong.

Don't forget Markevious Bryant. I really think we get this guy. You can't be the "Big Cat" if you play for the "Dawgs". It's all wrong.
I don't agree. We continued Les Miles habit of recruiting guards. I hope Deculus develops into a tackle, but he looks like another guard to me. The West Virginia kid is a project. We need pass protection on the end or don't expect much of a passing attack.
OFFENSIVE TACKLE and a TIGER (a real one).

Electrical generation - short term natural gas which is why I excluded natural gas. Long term solar (including rooftop solar), wind, ocean wave and ocean current and perhaps fuel cell.
First off let me say I think we get K'lavon, but he should rethink his aspirations. The petroleum industry, excluding natural gas, is a dying industry. The signs are all there. I'm sure you've heard of the Tesla? Now all the major car manufacturers are producing EVs. The 2017 Motor Trend car of the year is the Chevy Volt. Have you heard of the Nikola? A big rig tractor. It's a fuel cell hybrid with 4 electric motors producing 1000 hp. and with a 1000 mile range. All that's left to do is develop the infrastructure. Expected to be complete in 2020. Mercedes is developing an all electric fleet truck with enough range for a day's operation. Expect others to follow suit.

Electrical Engineering is a much better choice. No, I take that back. For a football player, Sports Administration is a better choice. Sports is big business. You don't have to make it to the NFL to make a lot of money in sports.
