That is a bit of a boom because the other pic they keep showing for comparison clearly shows some of that full space empty.
Correct!

This is the NYT image being forwarded as Trump's peak crowd:

For those posters saying "it's no big deal" "Trump needs to admit the NYT, CNN, etc. have it right", THE MEDIA LIED!

Opposite direction and lower. If any picture is manipulated by angle, it is the one that the Trump Administration is showing. Look at the angle differences. Come on.

Those pictures are not in conflict with each other. There is literally a mile between the Capitol and the Washington Monument. A picture taken from a lower angle is not going to emphasize the open areas as much. This isn't a conspiracy.

And all this misses the point. Sure, the MLK bust story was untrue, and the administration was within their right to point that out, but then they said a bunch of things that were demonstrably false. These aren't alternative truths. These statements aren't open to interpretation based on how they are presented. They're outright lies. And it should worry everyone when any administration (of either party) feels comfortable lying to the American people, especially about something so petty.

I was wondering when I was channel surfing why CNN, MSNBC kept showing that shot over and over. They were panning early on and took the pic; before it got packed.
