We bashed Les for not filling all of his positions with DBs and WRs and leaving us thin at certain positions... We already have 2 great safeties in the bag including one already enrolled. I just think there are other positions of need that I would rather take especially considering the talent we are still recruiting at DL and LB.... If we miss on some and there is an open spot than make the choice between Amik and Todd Harris... but we need one more RB (Etienne please) and don't pass on a LB or DL. It is unclear the number of spots open more because of the 85 scholarship limit.

A lot of fake info in this thread.
Harris is a take for lsu. He has an offer and still has one. Lsu is actively recruiting him. There will be room for him.
He is also a take for Bama. He has an offer and still has one. Bama is actively recruiting him. There will be room for him.
Harris is still considering both lsu and Bama. He has not made a final decision yet. That is why he has not committed. TCU is the wildcard here. They are a third choice and Harris will give them an open mind.

I have a hard time believing Saban would be hanging around with a potential recruit he is sure will commit to Alabama. When coaches are visiting players at this time of year, they are working to get them.

I used to feel the same way about T. Harris for the same reasons. Then I kept noticing him during the Under Armor practices. He really won me while there. LSU will be ok at Safety if he goes elsewhere, but he is a definite take and should be a priority. My amateur opinion, but he will be really good.

Amik has a unique skillset. A potential game breaker as the nickel, on special teams and potentially on those Canadian jet sweeps. We have 2 of the best safeties in the country already enrolled.
Really not hard to see the staff's view on this, unless you're a stargazer.

Todd is not limited to just safety. The staff has told him they would move him around. Todd can also play the nickel, he can play CB also. So don't just pigeon hole him to one position.

Amik is not a take OVER Todd. Amik is a baller in his own right. They have different skill sets. You take BOTH.

Honestly, I am torn as well on Harris. He is an elite safety and we really need LB's in a huge way as well as depth on DLine. Honestly it's kinda case by car and I would have to know who we have in the bag before considering passing on Harris. If we do not know who is onboard and Harris wants in now I say screw it and take him

He is really good.. He has a knack for the ball..... If he commits to LSU it will be a good pickup.

Dude I live in Maringouin and it's as hood as it gets lol. Do you live there? What do the amount of people in maringouin have to do with it? Do you know how many people got shot last year out those 1000? You don't know shite. On NSD podnah will be able to commit to Bama or LSU trust me.
