the same reason that the #1 player in the state last year is at aTm.....

Stansbury recruiting for aTm and now at WKU. Stansbury could probably have a decent starting 5 from LA at a school out of state.

The state produces a lot of talent. Not sure I buy the "all the good players play football" argument we've missed on guys like Kelly Ubre, Greg Monroe, danny granger, Richard Lewis, Chris duhon and Rico gathers just to name a few. Those are program changing type players that a coach like Stansbury can get if he were here. Just add Rico gathers to the Martin and Mickey teams plus a coach and you're a big time threat.

John Thompson had a stranglehold on the five star talent from New Orleans in the early to mid-80s Dwayne Bryant, Perry McDonald, Jarren Jackson. They all did quite well at Georgetown . Dennis Tracy was Dwayne Bryant's teammate at DLS and walked on at LSU. He was a hell of a hustler but did not have the talent to make a difference. Love watching him play though

Still gets me how with those guys they were not able to blow out the entire SEC two years ago....hell, three years ago with O'Bryant and M&M they should have controlled the league. No way they should have only been NIT. No way in 2015 they should have lost to NC State

What are people smoking on here? Do you have any idea of how loaded and talented Kentucky is on a yearly basis? We all got super excited when we landed Simmons last year and threw down all these unrealistic expectations. Kentucky signs 4-5 of those type of guys every year. Skal Labissiere was considered a better prospect than Simmons by a bunch of people and barely even played at Kentucky. If that happened here, people would have lost their shite. It barely mattered there..

People that say stuff like that don't know what they're talking about.
