At this time years ago we were watching "Dukes of Hazard" and "The Incredible Hulk" back to back every Friday night.

Yep. Once high school football was done, this kind of stuff was what I had to look forward to on a Friday night at a young age.

Sometimes you would strike gold and the CBS logo would spin around the screen alerting you to a special presentation--usually some type of Peanuts show.

Yep to all three.

Back then, my played in a regular card game Friday nights. He came home early one night because all the other men wanted to go home and see who shot J.R.

That sounds about right. Friday night and not old enough to do anything.

But tomorrow was the money night, in the late 70's anyway. You had SNL, then Monty Python, followed by Harold Lloyd.

My dad would order a couple of pizzas and stop for beer on the way back. My brother and I (11 and 12 respectively) eating pepperoni and drinking Miller Lite.
