I'm calling bs... it's illegal to put fliers in a mail box... if they did that, I'm sure what ever company did it, it's low budget..

A house near us was used as Cam Brady's house in The Campaign. Rumor had it that the home owners were not happy with the condition of their house after filming ended.

Also, I've talked to someone who knew about the filming on a ferry for Deja Vu. Supposedly, the film damaged the ferry but the film makers were forced to repair it to its previous condition.

Did the flier have any info about what movie or who was in it? Might be worth the hassle if the money is right and you get to have someone like Jennifer Aniston playing a role in your bedroom

Part of one of the flashback scenes in the first RoboCop movies was filmed outside the condos where I used to live in the 80's. They show him walking up to, and going into, the front door. They didn't use the interior of the condo.

It was the guy across from me whose front door was used. Men with light meters were standing next to my car when I went out to leave for work. Maybe I should have taken the day off and tried to get some money for moving my car.
