Sad and senseless, and why all but Superior on Govt St and Mid-City(with all the forthcoming joints) will have challenges to excel/succeed..
Folks have been scared to dine on Govt St at night going back to the turn of 1990, when Serops and Giamanco's hired Sherrif or Security Guards to man the parking lots. Makes it hard to generate all the dollars needed by just day hours(Lunch biz & Happy Hr)..
Hassan(Vasken's former right hand man)tried to make Chicago's work in that location, and the place by Northshore folks before him(forget the place's name) that served the great Shepherd's Pie..but people are afraid of walking to their cars after dark..fact.

I was expecting this to be in Greenville MS. Did not realize there were other locations. The one in Greenville is in a pretty rough neighborhood.

I can't say for sure the victim was shot 5-6 times only that the shooter fired at him that many times. My son says there was an obviously massive amount of blood.

When the waiter comes by asking you to check the doneness of the steak, that means you send it back if it isn't to your liking. I've eaten at Doe's once. My dad's steak was overly fatty. They comped it on the spot when he told the server.

Ashame because this single event will wind up closing Doe's Eat Place and Superior on this stretch. People aren't going to go there for lunch or dinner now because of this. Only way to solve this is to call in the National Guard to help supplement the BRPD.
