Seriously though, the red states suck the tit more than the blue states do. My theory is that rich Democrats are richer than rich Republicans, meaning rich Democrats vote the way they do because they can afford to, and rich Republicans aren't as rich as they act like they are (see the common $50k/year "millionaire" in Dallas). Meanwhile a lot of Republicans listen to AM talk radio on their way to work and let themselves be convinced that they are this country's rock, hence the OP's segment I quoted.

Which Red States you talking about- Ohio, Michigan, or Wisconsin? Hell, even blue states don't want to be blue anymore.
The guy making $50K/ yr, driving to work "getting worked up", is this country's rock. Always has been. He's also the guy who grabbed Dems by the pu$$y and pissed all in their bed...delivering the most improbable landslide in US political history.

How about my theory?
The red states have more minorities sucking the tit than the blue states. And the Dems in the blue states completely live in an echo chamber.
Its easier to sit back in Greenwich and watch TV and say "those poor oppressed minorities - someone needs to help them." than to live in these areas and read about the crime they commit on a daily basis, welfare scams and the other ratchet things that go on in the South.

Rich democrats are richer than rich Republicans. Also meaning they're better at business and smarter than Republicans. Right because you can't be rich and not a genius
