Louis DeAngelo's or Mission St Cafe?
If so, any opinions on the places?

D'Angelos used to be decent. Sure the canzone is still fine.
Mission street is a Sysco reheater. (They put mustard on my muff once)
Check out John Michael's if you need somewhere right there to eat.

Yeah I've read good things about JMs. That's why I didn't mention it but was curious about these 2 places.

The Cottage Inn cooks on Wednesday nights.

Louis DeAngelo's
For calzones and pizza, it's above average.
Order anything else from their menu (spaghetti, fettuccine alfredo with pre-packaged chicken, etc.) and it's terrible.

DeAngelo's is DeAngelo's. The place has a musty smell. The location has the standard DeAngelo's Italian fare, but on the whole, I don't think it's up to the caliber of even the other remaining locations. It's not the best. Still, if you want Italian in the area, it's pretty much your only choice.
Mission Street is a cafe attached to a gas station. Decent gas station cafe type food (breakfast, plate lunches, etc.), but it's not the type of place you're going to be taking clients.
That immediate area just really doesn't have anything that is really good. Lots of fast food and passable restaurants that'll serve perfectly fine to fill your belly, but nothing to really get excited about.

Griffin Grill is a good Mom and Pop stop.

Nope, John Michael's is where it's at!!! Love that place!! Shrimp remoulade wrap (it's hot, not cold) with a side of their awesome pasta salad and mint tea. Can't be topped! Wished they'd open one in BR. It would do so well in that Trader Joe's shopping center.
