Sark's offense scored 31 with a freshman QB. The problem was his defensive backfield, which is supposed to be Saban's strength.

Actually bamas front seven is their strength, it always has been and if you could get your qb enough time to pass against them that is the way to beat them.

The offense did enough to win the game. Saban's "best all time" defense gave up 35 pts and the winning drive with less than 2 to play.

Their last two TDs came on a busted coverage and a busted play. Throw in the WR pass on their last drive, and those 3 plays were their entire offense in the 2nd half.

You're right, I'm sure Ol' Lumberg will give him a bonus and tell him to take some time to relax

Obviously, the offense played well enough to win. Even scored the go ahead TD when the ball was in their hands last.

But Saban isn't exactly the most rational boss. For a recovering alcoholic under the kind of pressure Sark is under, it's going to be interesting.

And for the record, Bama was atrocious on 3rd downs. Couldn't keep the chains moving and give the defense a rest. Plenty to work on.

But honestly, it's just funny to think about Saban running his office like Lumberg and the hell it would be on his employees

MmmmmmmmmK?

I think they were 0-12 on 3rd down to end the game. They had to convert on 4th down on their final drive. They punted 10 times, which was the most all season.

With Cutty Sark calling the plays, in the second half Alabama had seven 3 and outs in a row, all of them lasting a minute to a minute and a half. Meanwhile, Alabama's defense was being warned down on the field. Then late in the fourth quarter, Alabama couldn't stop Clemson anymore. That's why Alabama lost last night.

The problem was his arse couldn't make first downs and his defense was on the field all game. Some of you people really don't know frick all about football. And I don't know much.

Exactly! Hurts almost won that game dispite Saban Secondary woes. Hurts did enough to win. Bama secondary couldn't stop Renthrow. Chris Carter said it best that Bama secondary just wanna hold and grab all game long. No technique whatsoever. It burned them Monday night, literally.
