Idiots. Back in my day we snuck in to TS to make out with our girl. Hard to beat that!

Why don't we just lock Mike VII in at night (this ought to be incentive to hurry up the process) and let him patrol the field?

That's an awesome idea but a separate liability nightmare I doubt LSU can afford.

Per DandyDon: "You might recall that this isn’t the first time something like this has happened recently. In early November, two 18-year-old Alabama students broke into the stadium and damaged the eye of the tiger at midfield."

Lots of bandwagon Gump fans driving around Baton Rouge with that fricking "A" in their back window. Whoever did it, I hope they are made to pay dearly.

My Dad (1950 LSU Graduate) told me that LSU and Tulane once had such an intense rivalry that some LSU fans planted "LSU" using winter rye in Tulane's football stadium and that fans from both teams would make bets that ended up with the losers painting their houses with the winning team's colors for the next year. Perhaps lore, but every State rivalry has lore to compare with the above.

I do not have a link. Bobby and Deke on wwl radio twenty minutes ago that some lsu players allegedly did the damage to tiger field. I can not tell you if they were joking. They named Tre White as one of the players and were discussing what should be done. I caught the last 30 seconds of what was said. Any one here heard anything. I started to call the station. I was going to start a thread but didn't.

Probably payback for the 63-14 game in '12.

Revenge is a dish best served cold.

They have the pics of the field on Twitter, whoever it was apparently did some burnouts and donuts in a golf cart or gator.

Sorry i am late getting back. I actually heard them say it. I caught the last 30 seconds. After i heard it i told myself they must be joking but, they were talking serious. About lining them up in the north end zone. Community service would be called for. I know that is something you do not joke about. Not Bobby and Deke. If it is not reported anymore, i will call wwl radio and ask if they were serious. I promise i heard the words they spoke.
