There are no trees on the border for the loons to chain themselves to so I guess they will have to use rock instead

Transparency? The previous president was a complete enigma prior to being elected. Anyone looking into his past asking for tax returns, college transcripts, or examining people who may have had an influence on his world view (Cough.. Reverend Wright Cough) was labeled a racist and a bigot and told to quit asking.
Hillary Clinton deleted 300,000 emails DURING and FBI investigation, but apparently they all pertained to yoga, family deaths, and wedding coordination though right?
If Trump didn't want to release his tax returns that's on him. We have just had 8 years of borderline, if not out-right, illegal obfuscation and from our government. I feel a private citizen can remain as private as he would choose to be and still be more open and transparent then our elected officials these past, hell 16 years

fully expect Trump to "talk" about building a wall for the next 4-8 years.
Exactly.
Except what he will be saying is...
Isn't that a beautiful wall? Dont we build the best walls folks.
It was under budget for mexico and we even got it ahead of schedule.

Needs to be clear any attack on the wall is considered an act of war.

I fully expect Trump to "talk" about building a wall for the next 4-8 years.
That's generally how politics/government works.

That's the difference between someone that supports a community organizer and someone that supports a successful business man.

Defense is a legitimate government enterprise.
Why are the liberals on this board so terrible at identifying hypocrisy?

What if Trump really meant all the shite he said on the campaign trail?
Of course he meant it. People didn't believe him though. Hence he was able to win.

Of course.
You can't possibly expect to use it to keep people in if the penalty for trying to escape isn't severe.

Building a wall is not a legitimate defense, but rather the government boondoggle cited above (oh, that's right, Mexico is paying for it....only, they're not).
Enforcing immigration laws and private property rights is how small gov't, freedom loving conservatives would handle it.
But then again, where's the crony capitalist profit in that, amirite?

Not sure what this even means.

Walls aren't a form of defense? Interesting perspective general.

Is anyone denying that we should enforce immigration laws? (they aren't)

Dunno, where's the evidence of crony capitalism in trumps administration? He's already gone after Boeing and Lockheed over the sweet heart arrangements they've had with the dod
So I ask again,
Why are the liberals on this board so terrible at identifying hypocrisy?

Well in hat case, let's extend the wall into the gulf and around the southeast coast to keep hurricanes out too.

We are going to need a Canadian wall, too. After Trump makes the U.S. health care system the best in the world and that has ever been, billions of Canadians will try to cross to get health care.
We also need a roof. A bigly roof that covers the whole nation. This will keep ISIS's nuclear missiles from hurting us.

yes. If there is a legitimate complaint from the left about Trump, its the amount of people he wants to keep in the United States.
