Adobe has created what is essentially comparable to photoshop for voice.
By imputing a few hundred words of a persons recorded voice you can now make recordings that are indistinguishable from the real speaker.

Between this and what ILM was able to do in Rogue One, who knows what audio/video will be real anymore? It's only a matter of time before video becomes available to the masses.

There will just have to be more independent sources to verify things now. And this technology has been around forever. It's just sampling and sequencing.
