He actually smacked his man boob.

It was a "I care" man boob smack... I could pull up some "I don't give a shite" blank stares from about 5yrs ago to demonstrate the difference...

Yeah, that stare-down was intense and didn't require words. Etling's gesture said, "I know. That INT was all me. Won't happen again."

p.s. Does anyone else think Stallone when they see Coach O?

There was a page in Saban's game prep about avoiding eye contact with this breed of gorilla. Just look over his shoulder and don't bare your teeth.

dont think there was any lack of respect there. That was a case where nothing needed to be said....coach O gave him the what the frick was that shite look and Etling rather than just walk past and do or say nothing patted him meaning yeah my bad I fricked that up it wont happen again coach...no big deal.

Meh, I'm a fan of traumatizing the QB there. That was one of the worst INTs I've ever seen. If you don't rip into the guy there when can you?

I gave T White the same look from section 106 when he let that punt hit the ground early on. But that Etling pick was pretty terrible.

I don't know, having your QB give you a "don't worry about it" good boy pay as he walks past you, doesn't really seem like demanding a lot of respect.

completely disagree.

Etling knew the pass was a bad decision and O stared him down - no words were necessary. Etling got the message and his pat to O's chest said "yep, I know I screwed up, but I got this."

Actually that was one of the best player/coach interactions I've seen in awhile. Very simple - message delivered, message received - no grandstanding.

This post cracks me up for a bunch of reasons. First of all is that a Tiger fan did not tape the game.
