Simple question with simple answer: was Sark coaching or spectating?
I wasn't in the box so I have no clue and neither do you. You want to assume the worst (cheater!) bc it makes it easier to cope with your team getting annually beaten by Bama. I'm fine saying I don't know if he was "coaching" or not, but I'm going to go with the theory that in today's digital age a guy can't pick his nose (literally) and get away with it, so I doubt they'd blatantly cheat and think they'll get away with it on TV. I know he's allowed to be where he was, wearing headset, and observe the action. I know he's not allowed to communicate with the on field staff (can talk to other analysts).

No I don't. I just said I wondered the same thing. When you look at Bama's track record for stretching the rules like previous mentioned incident and the using of NFL practice squad/former players at practice which everyone else seemed to think was illegal or unethical I don't know why anyone would think Bama cheats.
You forget we had Saban for a while too. He will push the rules to the limit until he gets his hand slapped. Now people are afraid to call him on it.

What's the point of having a booth full of "consultants" listening in? Seriously, it's a job they could do with game film, no need to even be there.
But if someone in the booth could communicate with the staff it would be fairly easy to do. Just walk into the booth, read the notes & pass it along.
