Who does that affect us with?

Probably D. Smith and mobile, AL commits.
I think O will grab Curtis Johnson

He will probably leave Miles brought him in. Orgeron isn't only recruiting the best player but also the best coaches to get LSU that championship

Would be a great consideration if Craig leaves

Got to keep Craig. He's a legend in Mobile and has coaching connections throughout the state of Alabama. I hear he's already made a big impression on several big-time underclassmen around Mobile. LSU doesn't stand a chance of getting them if he leaves. Players around Mobile know him personally and love him! He's a must keep for recruiting!

If he wants to be an OC, we will have a tough time keeping him here

Curtis Johnson is back in the NFL.

Would love CJ but he isn't leaving the NFL for a lateral job in college

We have to keep Coach Craig he is the Cog for recruiting in Alabama (Mobile). His job is teaching and developing our receiving corp and fostering the quarterback and receiver on field play execution, provide growth development. He also is another good offensive mind on the staff.

According to one poster here if you want Craig to stay you are automatically both clueless and think BH should be QB over DE.
I'm seeing overall better play from the WR group, especially in route running and technique. I think he's worth keeping, if we can.
ETA: I'm pretty sure that poster thinks Craig is a QB coach (hence bringing up the DE & BH thing). But we're the clueless ones.

Let's see - LSU WR coach or Oregon OC. You stupid if you don't already know...he gone!

If guys are coming to your school for a coach and not the school, then you cannot concern yourself with it. If Craig leaves to take a promotion (understandable), then Curtis Johnson would be a good addition.I know he flamed out at Tulane (who wouldn't?), but I do think he would be a good addition to the staff. Reach out to Brees and have conversations about Johnson. Are there any former LSU players that have had success coaching wideouts? If so, they must be contacted.

It would be a co oc role and Taggart calls his own plays. He might leave but it's not an ideal situation for him. I could see him staying until he gets an actual oc position.

If true, that's good, but we know how these things can turn out.
