I actually think this is a good idea. Give him a couple of series with the first team to shake off some rust.

Tony Romo expected to play

I know that there is a lot more at play here but I'd like see him play the entire game if the intent is to get rid of him in the off season.. not a Dallas fan but I always felt romo was unfairly judged by many

the obsession of an injured prone QB who has never won anything is pretty high around here.

You don't play someone you are going to trade. He could get hurt or he could look terrible. Jones may play him a little bc of his loyalty to Romo, but he shouldn't.

We saw 2 qbs get seriously injured last week. If dak goes down it would be good to have romo in game shape.

that being said, good chance romo breaks rib on sunday.

Need to get the rust off him. You know hes coming in for Dak at some point during the playoff game.

I'm a Cowboy fan who thinks having depth at QB is a good idea. Sue me

(though I do agree there is an unhealthy obsession with all things Romo...usually from the haters)

Exactly, and you know the Eagles would like nothing more (filthy bastards)

Playing with fire, IMO. If he lights it up, the media and some fans will pounce on it.

It would be a shame if he broke his clavicle in a meaningless game.

Maybe I guess...but Dak has you 13-3 at worst. I think it would be easy to deflect any of that

I'm split on this. Half of me says sit him and trade him. The other half says don't even think about next year. Do everything you can to win this year.

If he's not the backup quarterback then what is he doing showing up to practice every day? It's a pussy move to not even let him play.

The rust may be the only thing holding him together
