Want to take my son fishing this weekend. Should I head south still and fish Sea Breeze down to the ship channel? Or would we be better off going north in Lake Boudreaux?

Weekend outlook is pretty shitty weather wise but good luck to you. I haven't heard any reports from either area but i might try Sea Breeze first.

That marsh you can see from marina with the telephone poles- sneak in there, troll the bank, and score.

Meaning the first marsh behind the marina.

Also, the 4 way canal intersection behind the marina is really deep- you'll likely see some people there- dropping on one if the sides as it comes up.

If I'm thinking of the same marsh, it's shallow back there now. I only seen kayaks back there this past weekend.

Launched out of Coco Marina today and fished the marsh behind the Deep Saline.
Besides the early morning fog and the bruloes eating us alive, actually did pretty well.
Ended up with 20-ish trout and a few bullreds.
Be weary of the front that is about to roll through though. Water temp was 72 degrees today.

Dont forget about the cold front passing today (Thursday) and the high winds today and Friday... I'd say it will be pretty tough
