I hate all the spoilers the trailer reveals. Other than that, I'm really looking forward to this. Prometheus was great.

Hmm. Looks more like an Alien prequel than a Prometheus sequel. But that may just be for marketing purposes. I just hope they shed more light on the Engineers

Looks like it could be a fun movie, but I didn't see anything different about it.

I said the same thing in the thread started yesterday. I feel like they are gonna wash over Prometheus and hit the restart button, like the X-men movies did.

Yep. I won't see this if it's not Prometheus related. What happens when Shaw and David take off to the Engineers' homeworld?
I'd assume what the trailer is showing is a rescue or followup mission, and they're hiding the good stuff.

I agree. And I do think they are following up on what happens to Shaw and David, but if this is just brushed over and the story of the engineers isn't advanced then I doubt I will care to see it.

noomi rapace is listed in the credits as well as fassbender in a "dual role" so evidently we will at least find out what happened to shaw and David

That trailer is so underwhelming that I can't even describe my apathy.
It looks like Alien rebooted. I hope they are holding back on a lot of the plot, otherwise I'm not paying a plug nickel to see that in the theaters. I'll wait for a Redbox rental.

That is a pretty extreme decision to make based on a trailer. You could at least wait until reviews start pouring in.
