Do not invite me to any work or personal events without it getting me fired. I do not want to be included. I work for a government agency

How about you don't tell them anything and just don't go?

Why would you need to tell them that?...just politely decline if invited.

I just always have a priorly scheduled engagement/commitment

Seems much easier to decline an invite rather than ask to not be invited. Not only is it awfully presumptuous it forces an uncomfortable situation when one may not need to be present.

There is no nice way to say don't invite me. Appreciate the invite and don't go.

Get off the internet!! Get back to work.

You are such a social butterfly!

Why would asking that get you fired?
Posted on 12/23/16 at 2:11 pm to Wolverine546
" That sounds like a great time, I will see you there". Then do not go. Make some excuse if they ask why you did not show up. They usually do not. Pretty simple really.

Lie and say you are going out of town until the day before you go back to work.

continue acting like an arse and they will just quit asking you

I don't get it. Do these gatherings include illegal activities?
Posted on 12/23/16 at 2:14 pm to Wolverine546
Just say no thanks when invited and if pressed make up an excuse. I promise you your coworkers don't care about you as much as you think they do.

Are you the same guy that is being hit on by a 24 year old hot co worker and scared to tap that?
Posted on 12/23/16 at 2:17 pm to Wolverine546
OP, just don't go and not worry about it.

Nevermind. Even Volod couldn't mangle the English language that badly.
