Gonna need Kent Lowe to dust off the old history books for this one.

We did give up 102 in Gainesville in 2002.

what was the score of that loyola marrymont game in the 1980s? 140-130?
Posted on 12/22/16 at 10:26 pm to Paul Allen
I figure that's it but LSU had some terrible teams between then and now.

129 vs UK in 1996
And that team was one of the best teams in college bball history coached by Pitino.

1990.
148-141 (OT)
I believe it was 134 apiece at end of regulation.

A damn fine Illinois team won in the PMAC 127-100 in 1988 (Chris Jackson's 1st season)

UK had like 87 points in the first half. LSU did well to ever get the ball across midcourt against their defense.

I was at that game and sat next to an Illinois loudmouth (who had a mustache only with a combover bald spot) and his mute father.

That team lost to Michigan in the Final Four. Almost 30 years ago and I remember the studs on that team: Marcus Liberty, Nick Anderson, Stephen Bardo, Kenny Battle, and Kendall Gill

"Flying Illini".....one of the best college teams to never win a title! Growing up in LA, LSU was always my #1 team.....but '89 Illini has always been my favorite non-lsu squad!!

They ran the same pick and pop play all night and we never adjusted.

This should be Exhibit A on the failure that is a Johnny Jones team. They did the same simple first part of an offensive set and got wide open 3 point looks all night long. LSU never had an answer to find a way to guard the wide open shooter at the three point line.
