I wouldn't consider myself extremely wealthy but I probably could go 4-5 months without pay if needed. It's typically recommended to try to have 6 months of rent/bills saved up.

That's the definition of common sense, not being rich. I could go a year without pay, but I am by no means close to "rich".

F that. Ask Alleva, the BOS, and the Coaches that dumbass question. They are responsible.

I have over $1M in liquid savings - but I value that for family first ---- plus I already give a LOT of $$$ to TAF...... LSU will get no more of my $$$$ until it gets to ATL for the SEC CG

That's the point I was trying to make, I'm not rich by any means but I could do without for a short timeframe.

not only would i not go without pay to ensure an NC, i'd accept a healthy raise for a losing record.

the real question then becomes "how long would you keep accepting raises until you decided to let the tigers win again?"

Don't make fun of Kenny, he's just living life, trying his best.

Tell me you don't have a soft spot in your heart for this guy

Whatever your source (& SO if applicaple) of income may be, you won't get it for that timeframe.

Personally I could probably sacrifice a month if it guaranteed a NC. Maybe two.

So how much allowance money does 1 or 2 months worth add up to?

oohhh I like this question too. Like if you got an extra $1000 a year for each upcoming loss?

Dude... not to rehash the past... but after we beat Alabama IN THEIR STADIUM to win our division... then had to play the SEC Championship while Bama rested and studied film... and then they still went to the NC game over a Big 12 Champion who had beat more ranked teams that year...In other words, after Jan. 2012...

... I realized there is FAR too much politics, media bullshite, and frankly I am too damn old to ever again be that emotionally vested in a bunch of kids playing a game.

I love my Tigers. Hope they win. Hate when they lose. Hope they have a good coach. Hope they get the all-everything recruit that everyone claims will guarantee a NC. Love to poke my nose into the Rant to see what's the latest hubbub... But I will never NEVER do some crazy crap like lose sleep or (for Heaven's sake) give up a paycheck over the matter.

Geaux Tigers! But in the end, it's just a game guys.

I truly think that CEO would give up half his salary to bring a NC to Louisiana next year...that's what he's living for now...he's done all the clowning around/having guy type fun and he's focused on one objective now...just that..a NC! And I wish the guy well!

None, because the National Championship would be meaningless because it was bought by a fan instead of earned by the players & coaches.

This logic is why we will never be as good as Saban.

I'd give up like a week at the most.

As far as a stack per loss...... pile on the L's I'm gettin rich. Like I'd actively do everything I can short of major crimes to keep LSU on the losing track. If I could get 0-12 seasons every year that would be a fantastic bump to my yearly income.
