Imagine Russell Shep in Canada's offense

Not going to lie, pisses me off a lot. Dude could've had at least 500 rushing and probably could've put up numbers as a receiver. Miles wasted this man so much.

NO SUCH THING AS A FLOP THAT TAKES THE FIELD FOR THIS FOOTBALL TEAM

For the 11 millionth time. Russell Shepard could not throw a collegiate sized football with any accuracy. Like, almost not at all.

After seeing Rus in action this pass weekend, I was thinking the exact same thing.
Russell is so positive.
Miles had no clue how to use him.

Holy frick! What year is it? Still with the "wasted Russell Shepard" threads?

Imagine Cecil Collins in Canada's offense if he hadn't been a creeper.

Because In Canadas offense he has a 1,000 yard rusher and another 500 yard rusher. The 500 yard rusher is a receiver....

He just didn't get the proper coaching to become what he is today. There were some games where he admittedly was totally lost. They'd call a 10 yard dig and he'd run a streak. They'd call a screen and he'd run an out. He needed next level coaching.

Shep is still collecting a paycheck in the NFL as a WR so I suppose LSU did right by putting him at WR

Would have been Antwan Randal El 2.0..

Aight, I'm going to defend Miles a little on this one. Nobody can argue that Shep wasn't uber jukey and whatnot or that he wasn't a heck of a potential weapon BUT...
He was easily tackled when caught. He would have needed more touches to get the highlights that he was capable of having. There were others who were supposed to carry that load and were simply more solid at their positions whether it was RB or WR.
Sure, he would have gotten more touches under a different OC on a less talented team but he was at LSU and had to learn the WR position late.
Trust me when I say that I love me some Shep and always will. It's great to see him doing well on Sundays but I won't sit here and bash Miles for Shep's lack of production at LSU.

Just crazy Shep is better at WR now than when he converted and only had 20hrs/wk to learn the position. Just crazy.

This is like saying your 1st grade teacher wasted so much, you being so smart in 8th grade and all.
