I really think that he should. He is by no means ready for the league.

I think a year with Canada could put him in the late first early 2nd for 2018.

Dupre is a deep threat/fade route WR and Canada really doesn't favor the deep ball or fade routes.

Just IMO.

But yeah, I hope he comes back.

Doubtful .

He will get drafted and probably realize he made mistake whenever he gets bullied by cornerbacks that actually jam you every friggin play .

Sorry not meant as hate , I really like Chi and want him to succeed but he HAS to get more PHYSICAL. He needs to realize he's 6'3 and should be bullying these cornerbacks. Not the other way around .

^Just curious if you've ever watched Canada's Os prior to this week? Dupree if he's wise will go yesterday. Canada wants the ball in his HB/TE's hands early and often on short horizontal stuff. Dupree will be a blocker nxt year if he stays. WR's especially big down field pass catchers are gonna weep

While that may be what he excels at, it's entirely possible he could be more than just a deep threat. Les/Cam never really used him as anything more than that, so who knows.

Is that because he just doesn't like the deep ball or because he hasn't had a talent like Dupree?

A. Its DuprE

B. Its not really a big part of his game plans at any school he's been to. When it comes to the passing game he prefers spreading it out, with 3/4 wide, with quick, short passes. Which is fine, I don't care either way.

Maybe. He's not the best in the open field with the ball in his hands though. This is the kind of offense that Jarvis and OBJ would have fricking killed it in. Chark will do damage too.

I gotta ?...do you think that Canada knew that wasn't his players strength at the time so he just played to his team strengths or is it just not what he does, because I noticed the same thing?

I mean, they killed it in the pro-style offense. Both were thousand yard receivers in the same season.

So Canada doesn't like to throw downfield to WR? Doesn't sound too good to me.

if he can get paid to play football, he should go get paid. He will rightfully check out his draft grade/analysis.

The way Todd McShay slobbers over his talent and place in the draft, despite him being under utilized I say "he gone bye-bye"....but I hope not....

If he is smart he ignores all the draft gurus who will tell him he projects somewhere in the 4th or 5th round. He's not ready. He's not aggressive enough. He's not a Jarvis Landry type who will go and take the ball away from a CB or an OBJ who will lay out....yet.

Well he's never had the tools he'll have next year for the deep ball. One thing that I have consistently read about him is that he adapts to the players / skills he has much like Aranda does on defense.

Canada never really had the speed or oline for the deep pass plays. Now he has more than enough. He's going deep this year. He's going to make teams defend the entire field.

His drops at the combine will hurt him. His athleticism will help tremendously (fifth round) but he needs more confidence catching the ball in game situations or he might sign as an undrafted free agent, like a lot of Tigers do now.

You realize that is what Cameron's passing offense was designed for and how did that work out? Cameron wanted long post patterns with little underneath stuff. Moving the chains wins games not throwing 50-60 yd post patterns that you complete 30% of the time.
