Drew is one of the best QB's in NFL history. But watching Brady pissed off about Edelman not running out a route that would have been a TD - that guy wants to win more than anything. I don't think he cares about stats, just Lombardi Trophies.
Not that Drew doesn't care about winning, but dropped TD passes... You just don't get those chances often. I'd love to see him in those guy's faces every now and then when that happens.
Then again, Belichek runs rings around Payton when it comes to coaching. He takes retreads and makes winners out of them.
Spare me Deflategate and Spygate. That was minor compared to the whole body of work.

The only difference between brady and Brees is Brady doesn't have to force balls into triple coverage to have a have to win by 3 every week. When Brees had a good team around him and Payton was taking his meds, Brees didn't have to force balls into triple coverage. He could even take a sack. He could check down to darren sproles instead of travaris Cadet on 3rd down. There are 22 players on the field during every play. Edelman is going to lay out for that ball cooks didn't even put his hands up for

I'm just saying that Drew needs to call out Cooks. In front of everyone. Drew has earned that right. He needs to use it. Doesn't matter about all the other stuff.
I don't see a sense of urgency anywhere on this team.

Brees only cares about stats - Brady demands perfection.
You almost never see Brady and the Pats have to waste a timeout and then they do - Tommy is PISSED.

That's because they like to go up tempo and no huddle
Which is something we should absolutely do on the road imo

I wish someone on our team would show some emotion.

Drew has earned that right and he does chew guys out on the sidelines when they frick up, he just does it in a much less public way than how Brady does it.

Why would he do that when that ball was severely overthrown?

You never wanted your parents to chew you out in front of friends. A lot less effective behind closed doors

Well Brees is getting his money and he's not going anywhere so he's usually in a good mood. Besides, he's just not a very brash or aggressive attitude player. We'll never see that out of him for better or worse.
