e'd somehow be able to grab him in the 2nd I'd love that pick.

Agree. I'd argue for what we do as an offense/team that a receiving back gamebreaker is absolutely a top need. Our entire offense would flow more smoothly if we had that guy underneath that could move the chains underneath AND make long gains.

It would take a little pressure off fleener and the young WRs as well.

Cadet will not be the 3rd down back next year, guaranteed. we will draft one or grab a cheap FA. This team is not poor anymore. Saints can really double dip in free agency this year

Draft Christian McCaffrey 2nd round.

He has Jerry Jones pick written all over him...
Which lately, has been so bad for Dallas..

Ingram catches that td, 100%.

It's ridiculous how well he was last year catching the ball, yet cadet takes over all the time this year. Sean being Sean I guess.

McCaffery will not be there after round 2.

An alternative may be Eli McGuire of UL-Lafayette.

Same size, skill set and production.

He should be there in the 7th or as an UDFA.

He is the rub for the pick. I like the McCaffrey pick, but the Saints are likely to be picking in the top 10.

So even in the 2nd round you are looking at a top 42nd pick. The Saints have many needs and will have to use that pick for Value.

Now in the 3rd round you take him all day.

Greener is hot garbage though. Knew it the minute they signed him. Said we should have kept Watson at two years 7 million. Guarantee Watson would have caught those TD passes last two weeks. Seriously shows how bad greener is that we would rather have 37/38 yr old Watson. Fleener is on par with the Byrd signing. At least byrs was hurt fleener ia pooh

Man, Im torn on this.

McCaffery is amazing and couldnt be more perfect for this type of offense. I actually think hes a little better than Bush. Has more strength and vision.

The problem is the Saints have so many more important needs Id hate to see them spend a valuable 2nd round pick on a guy who probably wont be an everydown back in this system.

If they think they could address some of their other needs in FA or with some sleepers later in the draft then this would be a great pickup.

If it means we finally get rid of Cadet, I'm game. The team really needs to focus on the trenches though, they get pushed around on both sides of the ball. Domination in the trenches = winning.

I'd rather Eli McGuire in the 5th if he stays in that range

I just want someone who actually makes plays when he catches the ball.

Does cadet even have any yac? It's like either he drops it or he catches it and gets tackled right away.

He's been better at it the last few games, but it's still well below average. We definitely need to upgrade our receiving RB during the offseason. Personally I hope we use a 4th/5th rounder to accomplish this, but I won't complain if we take one earlier that falls to us. Free agency is also an option.
