Anyone else nervous that our coaches are just vistiting guys that have already commited? I know that normal protocol but I have a bad feeling about the rest of the class. Any news ? Anybody possibly gonna flip ? I'm shitting my pants . We need inside backers, we need Akers , we need devonta smith .

Their primary recruiting focus right now is on the early enrollees before the dead period hits. And those guys are a good portion of the ones already committed. Don't read too much into it.

We're 5th in the 24/7 Composite Recruiting Rankings right now and #1 Alabama has nearly a full class. so they aren't going after all of our remaining guys on the board.
If we maintain all of our current commits, that is a HUGE success for a coaching transition year.

Seems to be whats happening. Im hoping we can hang on to what we got but dang the LB situation seems like LSU will have to settle for some potential starters in 2 or 3 years instead of 1 . Other than that and breenan not to bad.

We have pretty good and experienced recruiters so I wouldn't be too worried.

My source told me 2 days ago that our linebacker class is gonna finish VERY strong. That's all I got

I'm not worried one bit.

That's a good point and makes me feel a little better . Usually when going through a coaching transition you have a couple down years in recruiting until kids can start seeing your product on the field .

We have a new head coach. It makes total sense that we are visiting some recruits already committed. I'd be pissed if they weren't.

They either go to LSU or not. Shitting in your pants doesn't help.

Man, I've been a big Negative Nancy since Alleva hired O, and even *I'm* shaking my head at your nervousness. This is a great time to shore up the big commits (and all of them, really) before the dead period. You absolutely have to keep showing love to guys you've had in the fold, or else they will hear it from the other suitors tenfold. I do hope O and staff remember when St Stanislaw is, btw.

I just don't see how elite lb recruits wouldn't want to flock to Aranda.
He is incredible with lbs and LSU needs them

Honestly I just finally conceded that the Moses and Allen flips aren't gonna happen . It just pisses me off that we had a chance to have the best linebacking core in LSU history comprised of Devin White, Dylan Moses , M. Divinity , and Andre Anthony. Imagine those guys in Arandas system for 2 years. It would be incredible with Tyler shelvin at the nose , Rashard Lawrence, etc.

While I understand the focus on the EE types, and it is VERY important, I do find it surprising that we do not have any other visitors scheduled this weekend...especially at pos's of need: LB, DT and OT. Just saying.

You know this incorrect right? The coaches have been out visiting commits and uncommitted prospects.
