From what I've read, Aranda has an in home with him today and at some point this week Auburn has an in home as well. He will make a decision after both visits.

I haven't seen or heard anything yet. Once I hear something, and it hasn't been posted already, I'll give an update.
Sorry, I am Twitter illiterate, I see how it works now. Awesome job tke!
OU has set an in-home with Phillips Friday. I hope O and Co. will have a chance to counter. Or he will decommit and shut things down as a Tiger.

Heres to hoping it's the latter.

He must have deleted it or I am looking in the wrong place. I'm on his twitter and can't find it.
Mr. Phillips has retweeted 2 different tweets this morning. One is screen shot of a conversation he had with a friend, which doesn't seem to be linked to OU, and a religious tweet from a fellow Ou commit. Phillips' last original tweet was sent on Jan 22nd saying "The Lord got it".

I'll be there all week, would it be creepy if I showed up at his school on NSD in LSU clothing and the keys to a cheaply leaseable purple Charger ?

No it's your duty.

Don't come back unless you have Mr. Phillips' commitment. Tiger Nation is counting on you!

Supposedly Phillips is supposed to announce today/tonight of his final decision. Obviously no word yet. I've literally been stalking his Twitter, both LSU and Ou's 247 sites and TD recruiting board all day waiting on the news.

Come on Jacob be a Tiger!

I've seen all that also. I hope Queen is right and Phillips and Gay will both be Tigers.
I completely agree but Jacob feels conflicted to flip because he is afraid of what it would say about his character. Phillips needs to realize, as good of a player he is, even at this age, this is a BUSINESS decision. He needs to think "Who can do the most for me" and the obvious answer is LSU. Look at that amazing Big 12 D. He would be an absolute waste there.

I found it. For the reporter to say "Jacob really wants to go to OU" why did he take the unofficial visit then? If he really wants to be at OU, he would have never talked to LSU much less go on an unofficial visit and all that. IMO he being a homer and not seeing it for what it is. But then again, we are all being homers too.

Hoping he makes the best decision for himself and that it happens to be playing for the Tigers.

If he doesn't flip today or mid day tomorrow I think he sticks with OU. From an article on Oklahoma 247 board he informed a commit there that he would make it known where he would commit too

Link? I've searched OU's 247 site and can't find it.

Will be interesting if he chooses us what that means for the rest of the LBs. Most seem to think we get Gay and Phillips, but would we take Taylor, Gay and Phillips?

One would think so due to the overall lack of depth at the position. Issue is that with only 7 spots, if we take Taylor, Gay, and Phillips; we will likely have to pass on Todd Harris, who from what I've read on 247, is slotted to take the last of those 7 spots.

Worse case scenario would be Farrell flipping to Florida State, Wilson signing with Florida State, as opposed to LSU, and Mathis signing with Alabama.

Not to mention that Phillips sticking to Oklahoma would also would be pretty disappointing and Gay sticking with Mississippi State because his Mom wants him close to home, but nonetheless let's pray that none of that stuff ever happens.

Thanks, I didn't plan on drinking today but you have officially changed that.

According to 247, Aranda will make an in home visit Wednesday. Auburn will also make an in home visit at some point this week.

Taylor will make his decision this week and it will be public.

Here's to hoping he picks the real Tigers of the SEC! Go get'm Dave!

LSU’s push for another running back in the 2017 class will turn up even more on Monday.

LSU head coach Ed Orgeron, offensive coordinator Matt Canada and running backs coach Jabbar Juluke will all head to Jennings (La.) to go in-home with four-star running back Travis Etienne.
