A trade just got accepted in my league.

Team one (out of playoffs) gives
Rawls
Luck

Team two (in playoffs) gives
Hightower
Kelly

Am I wrong to be pissed off about this trade? It will likely go through because we have already started playoffs and half the league isn't following.

Veto

No team that's in the playoffs should be able to trade with one that isn't, period.

I agree. Am I wrong that this isn't even close to a fair trade?

Veto that shite. There shouldn't be any trades at this point in the season anyways. Trade deadlines exist for a reason

Unless the guy in the playoffs has a better QB than Luck, and two better RBs than Rawls, you aren't wrong.

Either way, I have a major issue with teams not in the playoffs making trades. Both of my leagues have a deadline.

You should not be in any league without a trade deadline.

Why in the world are trades still allowed at this point in the season?

I'd be pissed. Your commish dropped the ball not setting a trade deadline. If it doesn't get vetoed, I don't think I'd be in that league next season.

Sorry guys, but I don't think he should veto. The issue here is that there is no trade deadline. Every league should have a trade deadline and it would prevent a team not in the playoff from trading with one that is. If your league doesn't have a deadline, it's your own (and your league's) fault, but you have to live with the consequences.

If you don't like this shite, set a trade deadline.

There are 2 separate issues here:

1) There should be a much earlier trade deadline. Nothing can be done about that now, but one should be implemented for next year and going forward.

2) Like with any questionable trade, the commish should talk directly to both parties and ask them to explain their side of the trade (perhaps openly where the whole league can hear/see the response, if the league usually solves issues by vote). If the reasons for the trade don't make sense, then veto the trade and don't invite either person back to the league after this year.

Veto, you could make an argument based on the entire rosters of each team if I could see them but since one team is out of playoffs and the other team is clearly the winner at this point it doesn't make sense

Veto. No doubt

Issue #1, teams out of the playoffs shouldn't trade with teams in the playoffs (should have a deadline).

Issue #2, trade itself is very lopsided.

Only way I can see this trade is if this is a keeper league and the cost for Luck/Rawls is very expensive (requiring an early round pick to keep) and Kelley's keeper cost is very cheap (16th round keeper).

Veto.

Pretty lopsided deal...playoff team probably offered non-playoff team a cut from whatever winnings he gets to make the trade happen.

Trade deadline in 99% of leagues was weeks ago, and yall still allow trades even after playoffs have started?

It's a pretty ridiculously lopsided trade regardless of anything.

Bull shite. If there is money on the line, you can make damn sure any bullshite trades will be vetoed or I'd be getting my money back.
