Why don't I see more push for this guy?
Does he get credit for the good years of both Bo Wallace and Chad Kelly?
Does he get the credit for QB play at Ole Miss?
Does he get credit for putting up points, consistently, on the vaunted Alabama defense, even though no one is afraid of Ole Miss running the ball and the pass rushers can pin their ears back?
Why no traction for Werner as OC?

Would be an awful hire IMO. Any offensive success against Bama is due to Freeze.

He is certainly on the list, just not near the top. Hopefully we will draw from the front of the "binder" and not the rear.

Maybe an Ole Miss guy can correct me but I think there is a couple of reasons he's going to be at Ole Miss as long as we want him.
The biggest is I believe he has a disabled child that needs to live around Oxford. This issue also means that he does not do too much recruiting
Also, Freeze is seen as the OC by a lot of people and has called plays at times. I think Freeze still calls third downs
