OT Theologists: give OT brief difference b/t Christian denominations

Doctrine and Culture. I'm trying to figure what denomination I want to be. I've ruled out Southern Baptist (and the like) and Catholicism.
I grew up Southern Baptist. Nice folks who I truly think they help CERTAIN people. For me, Ive always found it to be a hypocritcal baby boomer haven full of obese sheeple who hate them gayz, alcohol, and sex (even though it's full of closet gays, alcoholics, and sex addicted folks who join in on the judgement).
My beef with Catholics (other than the fact the church has covered up pedophilia) is the that, like the Baptist, you're either in the club (their specific church) or you're not. And if you're not, you aint making it to heaven. Also, I'm sorry but despite Mother Teresa being a wonderful woman, she did not perform a miracle.
Perhaps I should ask more specifically, what's everyone's opinion (good/bad) on Presbyterian, Methodist, Episcopalian? I feel like I fit somewhere in one of these.

Healing Place is the place you want to be.

Sounds like non-denominational is what you're looking for. From what I understand, it's all of the feel good with none of the guilt.

Catholics are the OGs.
Protestants, no matter what variety, are just buffet line Christians--they pick and choose what rules to follow to fit their blasphemous lifestyle.

Reminds me too much of the Baptist culturally. Not trying to be a snob, however those people seem like simpletons.

Heterodox but still Christian.

As are the Orthodox

True and I respect that. However, many of your priests are pedophiles. Your earth god (pope) needs to let priest get married, whether gay or not.

A lot of non-denominational churches are very charismatic, which is a ticket straight to crazy town. Watch out for that.

I would like to recommend the Church of Christ (not the United Church of Christ, which is different). They try to follow the New Testament 100%. If you don't follow the Bible then what good is going?
I also don't have a problem with the Baptist Church. btw, there are "hypocrites" in every church, but we don't have to be one.

Orthodoxy has very, very similar sacraments and magisterium to Roman Catholicism but parish priests are almost always married with several children.

Their Pope is not their God.

so you've ruled out Protestantism and Catholicism.... well, hate to break it to you, but that's all that Christianity has to offer... perhaps take up Buddhism...

I don't hate Baptist or Catholic churches and think it's a great thing for certain people, however I just don't fit in that category.
I get that there are "hypocrites" in every church, however it's notably bad in the evangelical churches.

Sounds like you don't like organized religion. Every church I have ever been to is a social group, you are either in the click or not. If you don't like that maybe you should read and study the Bible on your own or with family members. Just my 2 cents.

Point out in scripture where masturbation is a sin? I'll wait, Reverand

I didn't rule out Methodist, Presbyterian, Episcopalian.
Too lazy to google -- what's the difference between these three?

I think you are stereotyping here. I sure haven't seen that in the Churches of Christ that I have gone to.
