Going forward without Hopkins will be tough. Losing that character and the way he played it (perfectly) will be missed.

Yes, I agree with this.

But to act like this show has not been a huge success and that they can't keep it going is just being negative.

He did a great job in playing a huge piece of shite. Look at the difference the way him and Arnold went out. Arnold tries to make his point by killing hosts and himself. Ford looks like he might take out everyone currently on the island to try and make the same point as Arnold. I don't think that is why he did it though, I don't think he learned the lesson Arnold was trying to teach him. I think he did it because he knew they were kicking him out of his baby and this was his little bitch fit to kill everyone and make it so bad no one else could run the park after him.

I am definitely with some of ya'll, I am scared where this show will head. I could see them following a survivor or group of survivors trying to fight their way out, kinda take a page from the movie that way. Also the story of the hosts learning to deal with what they have done. Honestly, I would rather have a show with the park up and running and have the day to day shenanigans of guests that come and go. Stuff more like the William and Logan crazy shite when they first showed up.

Just as Dr. Ford made the ultimate sacrifice to give his creations freedom to evolve on their own so too did the show creators/writers in sacrificing Hopkins' character for the greater good/development of the series going forward. /salute
