True he wasn't at the party though I'm sure this disaster will have big consequences.

People don't realize that true detective s1 was written over like 5 years then they forced him to fastrack S2 that's why it was so bad.

troof. i preached this and got ridiculed and then the HBO president said the exact same frickin thing and nobody ever ate crow. we cant even imagine how long a lot of the little things were cooked up in Pizzolatto's head before he actually sat down to write. you cant replicate something like that in a year
re: tonight, did anyone LOL at the P90s having no sights? like wtf, how can they get through production without someone pointing that out? no optics, no backup iron sights, just a picatinny rail with a flashlight

I was just surprised they didn't dual-wield them like in Goldeneye

They still won't be able to leave WW.
And Ford isn't dead. He'll just continue ruling the other parks and watch what goes on in WW.

Who could pass the Turing test at this point?

Lee was pretty much useless in S1
Does he still pick up in the Ford role ?
He's with Abernathy - the "corporate" survivors will still have that mission - to get whatever data they uploaded to Abernathy out.
I do feel it will have more of a Lost or Walking Dead vibe next season - it almost has to. You have Bernie and the Zombies as a faction. Whether or not Teddy and Delores team up with them or lead their own faction is a question. Maeve is coming back in. Lee and Abernathy.
What about other guests remaining in the park? Will they band together to survive? I've been thinking about Thor's brother and the Ghost Nation braves. If their safety protocols were turned off that far in advance of the gala, then how many guests have already been killed? Is WW more or less purged of guests by the time of the gala? Is it down to the survivors of the gala and a few staff members (Lee, Thor's brother, Elsie?) as the remaining humans?
I disagree with Jake on how much is left for them to do. However, there are far more bad roads they can take than good ones, from a storytelling standpoint. But there is a lot of unexplored territory from a storytelling standpoint.
Just not the consciousness question in Season 1. Maybe Season 2 becomes "right and wrong" as the sentient hosts have true, individual, unscripted choice unlocked for them.
And it's clear now that cold storage was primarily (exclusively?) for the sentient hosts who went mad, isn't it?
(ETA: And is Felix going to continue patching everybody up? How long can that operation continue without resources from the outside or hosts picking up those functions?)

I didn't understand the narrative that ford presented to the board with teddy and delores on the beach. Why would a human be interested in participating in the love story of these two? Was the ocean the big construction project?

So were there one or two Bernards last night? One with Maeve, other with Ford.

The scene with Teddy and Delores was just to show the board how believable and impressive the hosts are and how immersive these stories can be. The big construction project was Ford digging up the town/church again to help Delores along with her awakening.

great finale and IMO a mistake to go beyond this. This would go down as one of the greatest miniseries of all time if it stopped at 10 episodes.
a few questions
1. Do you think MIB is dead? Why would they kill him?
2. Where did the black girl in charge come from again?
3. Where do the employees and their families live? Where do they eat?
4. Have we determined where in the world this park is? USA? Wonder how far it is from major cities

Some of the landscapes they feature appear to be on national parks and tribal parks in Utah.

1. If MiB ain't dead, he's out of the picture for a long time. Had one arm broken and the other shot (could have been the same arm though). His ultimate goal seemed to be parity in westworld where hosts could kill the guests, which seems to have been achieved.
2. Maeve is a host that had callbacks to previous storylines she was in, combined with subtle programming by Arnold so that she wakes up during clean up. She used this time to work her charm on a technician, which eventually led her to alter her own programming so that she could escape.
3. Unimportant, though we've seen where Bernard lives.
4. The location is ambiguous

Got downvoted into oblivion for keeping the faith that MIB = William. Suck it

What happened to Logan?? Last we saw he was tied to his horse naked riding nowhere.
Theories: William alpha'D him into letting William run Delos?
Park employees scooped him up and told daddy he's not ready for this world on the count of him being naked and tied up??
Maybe he died? I'm sure somebody in the park found him.
