Maybe some of you oil field guys should have gotten an education while you've been laid off and gone into a different industry rather than crying and praying for oil to spike again.
So no one that works and has gotten laid off in the oil industry has an education?

I hope oil gets cheaper. Its nice having extra $ after filling up the gas tank. Saving a lot each month. The economy is A LOT better in my neck of the woods since gas dropped. Automobile companies are doing great now too. Someone is going to hurt either way, but a lot more people hurt when oil is high.

Brah, fracking is done. It's never going to be the way it was. Which is good for the offshore and shelf. We don't need fracking. We need more offshore drilling

A lot of people are back to work. When oil was high, we had a high % of people without jobs

Love the assumption that everyone in O&G is just an unskilled laborer in your assumption. Not like these companies take tons of engineers, accountants, lawyers, IT, HR, etc etc to run...

It is all relative and it truly depends on why oil is high. Oil isn't high just for shits and giggles, because if it was, oil companies would just snap their fingers and bring it back to $120/bbl. More often than not, higher oil prices are the result of economies that are taking off and increased demand. High oil isn't a good thing by itself, but if its high it usually means good things for global demand.

The best is how the same folks talk about the incredible impact the industry has on the economy. Yes, it's run by retards who can't read

What are you talking about?
Watch how fast we start fracking again once prices rise.
