Yeah, in this scenario, everyone stays together. No way I leave any of my family behind.
Without a car is pretty rough.

He told WATE that his home was engulfed in flames, but he believes he saw signs that his family had escaped.
Does anyone here live close enough to possibly have some local knowledge, or insight, of what this means?

Someone commented on a post that one of his daughter's stuffed animals was in the street. That's all I got.

Holy frick that's terrible

I think by now his family would have contacted him one way or another. This is very tragic. Still hoping for a miracle.

Yeah. I don't think this turns out well. He'll never forgive himself for leaving them there.

OMG this is so horrible.

The authorities and state have totally fricked this entire crisis up.

I'm pretty clueless on fire protocol for the state/ fed authorities but what's normal? I mean supposedly this guy and his family had a 3 hour mandatory evacuation warning, with a wildfire I'm not sure that's screwing up that bad? Those things can shift pretty easily?
I've seen 'extreme' warnings all over the south recently for fire warnings. I mean sometimes stuff happens and you gotta go immediately and not screw around.

Lots of folks weren't aware of the evacuation orders from what i've heard

Apparently she has been found. Sadly, not alive.

WATE says the missing mom they are talking about is Alice Hagler of Chalet Village.
The missing mom in this thread we were speaking of is Constance Reed

I am still praying and hoping for Michael's wife and girls.
