You're using a stat, that by conventional methods, says inaccuracy doesn't matter.

QB 1: Completes a long pass of 30 yards, but miss the next 5.
He has a yards per completion of 30. But it negates the fact he missed the other 5. His YPA is 5.0

QB 2: By comparison, completes that pass for 30, then the next 5 he hits 2/5 and gets 20 yards. His yards per completion is 16.7, whereas his YPA is 8.3

by your argument, QB 1 is 'better' and doesn't 'dink and dunk'
By your argument the QB2 gets penalized for hitting easier passes in his progression.

I'm using a stat that shows the impact of his passes that are actually caught. since we know he completes passes at the highest rate we can see the yards per completion to tell that he is throwing shorter passes than 2/3 of the league. Making the people who say he doesn't dink and dunk clown shows. Does he always dink and dunk?? No. but he does more than 2/3 of the league and certainly more than any other qb who is considered elite 'cept for Rodgers this year.
