I was melting with the rest of you but now have began to let the Hire sink in and be rational based on who our coach is vs who Les Miles was.

No way we will see as many stubborn bone headed plays under this regime that will have better assistants. Coach O seems to want to be the anti Miles.

Considering the success that Miles had, is it that far fetched that a coach like O will have success at LSU ?

Will be better coached, more unpredictable, with the same or more talent.

O is smart enough to understand what he doesn't know. Les was so hard headed he mettled in everything and would not let his great staff do their jobs. Big difference in the two.

As far as recruiting he needs to do better in some categorys. We need qbs and tackles. We could have had kelly at qb and c robinson at lt

O's new offense will be 150 yrds per game better than Miles' and we get to keep the same defense.\
That will win us 11 games - 10 at worst.
Plus it will be fun again.

I don't care if he is a Dline coach, He is better than what we had. If we had hired him last year, we would be sitting with 1 or 2 losses and playing bama in the SECCG.

TH is just the flavor of the week. The guy has never been to TS.

I hope you're right, but there is not much evidence to support the better coaching opinion at this time.

it all depends on who O selects on his offense staff and his ability to be open minded. Miles killed himself after the NC loss.

the only scary thing I've seen is the reluctance to throw the ball in the red zone. WE HAVE TO BE A COMPETENT PASSING TEAM TO WIN.
