I think I'll finally pull the trigger on this one.

Good game. Not even going to complain that I bought it last week.

I say go for it! I enjoyed it more than I did Tyranny.

it's a fantastic game. I haven't finished it, but that's mainly because I took a break and kind of forgot what was going on. Highly suggest getting it if anyone is thinking about it.

No it just extends the game for the most part, but they are good though.

cool, thanks. just grabbed it

Don't give up on it if you aren't immediately pulled in.
I think it took 3 or 4 tries over 6 months before I finally dove in. Then I played it through twice.

Since you have the DLC a couple of things, stay away from Cragholdt until you are into the DLC or you will get wrecked, don't worry about your army until you are into the DLC (you will know what I mean when you get to it), and turn on fast mode and scout everywhere the first time you are there, a lot of hidden goodies to be found, you will need a perception/mechanic character. Also cursor over the whole area to find things to loot, you will know what to look for after playing a little while, it's not a burden to do it.
There are a couple of quests that will bug and you can't complete if the right character isn't in your party when you clear that area and there is one bug that will not let your main be your lockpicker/trap disarmer, I got it on this play through so if you choose to be that then just train another party member to do it. The bug doesn't happen all the them though.

yeah, it seems like there's a lot to learn to play this game correctly.

I think I got this game for like $11 on one of those CDKey websites awhile back. Very pretty game, but every minute encounter felt like a boss fight. It takes a lot of its design philosophy from those old infinity engine RPGs both good and bad.

Holy hell I love this game.
Only played an hour or so. It reminds me so much of baldurs gate.
Voice over is solid. Also really like the dialog up. Tons of details.

I really regret paying full price for tyranny and blame you. That's what's keeping me from getting Pillars.

Another I have had my eye on

Wasteland 2 is a solid game. Story wise it doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it does the job and isn't overloaded with fetch quests. The gameplay is fun with stat checks and melee/range options. I'd recommend it if you find it below $25
