In 2006, If Someone Told Me We Would Be Irrelevent In Every Major Sport In 10yrs

I would have laughed.
Until we hired Joe SJW Alleva in the summer of 2008...
Our football team in 2006 was one fixed game away from a possible NC season. We had a loaded squad, a wide open offense, and the prospects for 2007 were great.
Our basketball team just made the final four and would be returning Big Baby Davis, among others, the next season.
Our baseball team needed work, but a fresh new hire in CPM would turn that around.
Women's basketball was consistently in the final four hunt...
The list goes on and on..
Fast forward 10 years later...
Our football team is irrelevant and has been for 5 season AFTER making the BCSCG. Now we have hired an assistant as HC after firing the winningest coach in history. This AFTER being made a bitch by the SEC with "bridge scheduling" and this year the UF hurricane BS. Thanks Alleva.
Basketball is a laughing stock. We have one of the worst coaches in America and it is not even close. Thanks again, Alleva.
Baseball won a NC in 2009 and has underachieved with some solid MLB talent. I don't see our baseball team winning a NC again under CPM and now we have lost our top assistant. When CPM hangs it up, no doubt Alleva will screw this up too.

At least we have golf and gymnastics!
Oh well, I'm saving my money and watching this shite show on TV. Thanks again, Joe!

Suck a dick. Don't bring baseball into this. Marinara Sauce brought a team full of freshmen and JuCo players to a top 8 seed last year.

Alleva and Alexander have pretty much destroyed this with pay lots, tailgating restrictions, construction, and increasingly roping off massive areas of campus that were once home to tailgates. The tailgating scene is a shadow of what it was 10 years ago. Alleva and Alexander have worked in concert to destroy it.

I just felt we could get a big name HC.
I'll be rooting for all of the teams. Forever LSU. But Alleva has taken us from our highest highs to our lowest lows in no time.
